Yonggeumok(mudfish soup) @ City Hall/ Eujiro 1-ga

This might be the most traditional resturant I've been in Seoul -- Chueotang aka Mudfish soup shop hehe
Mudfish soup???? Sounds super weird right but i was really craving for a hot bowl of something after a day at carribean bay so I somehow stumbled upon this place and since it was on the green line(Line 2)... it was pretty convenient
Getting down at City hall was a wrong choice though cuz the station is sooooooo big and we walked for super long haha i'd recommend getting off at Eujiro 1-ga! You can walk to Myeongdong after this if you wanna digest your food.. it's pretty near!
Tried using Google Maps to find but Gmaps isn't exactly accurate in Seoul so we died and nearly gave up but decided to turn into a lane and BAM here we were!!
Yay traditional restaurants and their feels ^.^
Mudfish soup!!! It was super filling by the way, so much ingredients and super worth it! They'd ask you if you prefer the traditional way (having the mudfish in the soup) or the soup w mudfish ground up in it. We chose the former for the sake of traditional taste huhu
It was really interesting but mudfish had soooo many bones try to bite as hard as you can!! The soup had super a lot of mudfish and other ingredients that seemed liek tau pok etc hehe it was really good!.
It was about 10,000 won per pax and I think it was a good price to pay for the amount of ingredients and for a taste of tradition :)
And their plethora of side dishes!! Koreans really love their garlic... I didn't dare to try LOL but the beansprouts were really good. They gave a tiny bowl of some noodles as the side which were really soft too!
Try it if you can!!
Address: Seoul, Jung-gu, Da-dong 165-1
